  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

Our second visit to Sandy Paws, the most perfect dog friendly location you could wish for. Beautiful bungalow right across from the nature reserve & only a short walk to the all year round dog friendly beach. Plenty of eateries that welcome dogs. We had meals at The Fat Seagull which is on the doorstep, The Boatshed Cafe at Huttoft, The Bacchus at Sutton on Sea & takeaway fish & chips from The Dolphin. The fully enclosed lawned garden is perfect & means you can relax knowing your dog cannot escape. Already booked our holiday at Sandy Paws for 2024.

  • Little Pawprints - Sutton on Sea

We can’t recommend this beautiful holiday enough. It really is perfect in every way. We enjoyed a week here with our very reactive lab,Benson and our 2 older girls. The location so near to the beach was perfect and only a 10 minute walk into the town. The garden is so safe and secure and we had no issues whatsoever. It was lovely to be able to make a cup of tea with the complimentary milk etc as soon as we got there. There was a doggie gift box too, which we thought was a lovely touch. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much Julie, you should be very proud of the wonderful experiences that guests and doggies can enjoy as a family xx

  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

Just spent a lovely 11 days here at Sandy Paws, House is immaculate a very important factor for me. I walked in on arrival and instantly felt at home very comfortable with everything you need. The welcome pack with everything for a much needed cuppa including fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits was really appreciated. Nice touch with the doggie gift box too. Quiet area with nice neighbours and easy access to the beach. Communication with Julie from start to finish was excellent, highly recommended, thank you Julie

3 Adults (3 dogs) Our 3rd Pawprints Holiday first time at Little Pawprints. What a superb bungalow immaculate inside with nice size garden for the poochies. The location is a minute to the beach and 10 mins walk into Sutton-on-sea and 10 mins walk to Sandilands. Would definitely recommend as a dog friendly holiday.

  • Little Pawprints - Sutton on Sea

We had a great time here; 2 adults with 3 (small) dogs Access to the beach and walks was excellent and it was so peaceful and quiet. We had everything we needed and puppies were thrilled to "meet and greet" all the neighbours! If we can arrange another short break there, we will certainly do so. Highly recommended.

  • Little Pawprints - Sutton on Sea

Had a lovely stay with my husband and our 2 little pooches. The bungalow was perfect, it was very clean and comfortable as well as having a fully equipped kitchen. The location was great as was literally a few minutes walk to the beach, which the dogs loved going to everyday.
The little welcome pack for the dogs on arrival was a lovely little extra. Would definitely recommend, a great place to bring your fur babies.

  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

Our 5th visit to Sandy Paws and as always it was wonderful. Beautiful bungalow, very clean, excellent sized secure garden. Every time we visit its like we are the 1st people to stay as its so clean. Sutton on Sea is a lovely town with everything you need. The beaches are beautiful and empty even at the end of June. Lots to do in the area as well as further a field. Plenty of places to eat out and Waldos fish and chips is a must.
I highly recommend a holiday with Pawprints.
Looking forward to our 2024 holiday at Sandy Paws.

  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

We had a great week at Sandy Paws. The bungalow was lovely and clean on arrival, the tea and milk were appreciated and the dogs loved the treats and squeaky beaver.
There was more than enough space for 4 adults and 5 dogs. Both bedrooms were light and spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and the living room has a great view of the nature reserve.
The garden is fully secure and would be a great space to relax, unfortunately our weather was a little bit cool.
It's an easy walk to Sutton on Sea town centre either through the nature reserve and across the promenade or via road which wasn't busy. The Beach Bar does good light meals and great coffee. The restaurant at Seashells B&B on Grove Road do great food all day and the Bacchus Hotel on the High Street serve excellent meals between 1830-2030 (but they do stop early if not busy). All are super dog friendly and prices reasonable.
The Co-op on Station Road has everything you need to self cater, if you want a bigger supermarket
Mablethorpe is a short 15 minute drive.
The Bubble Bar on the promenade at Mablethorpe is quirky, has a good selection of drinks and again is dog friendly.
    A fabulous week.

  • Little Pawprints - Sutton on Sea

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Little Sandy paws. The house was immaculately clean and the garden was very dog friendly. The bungalow is very close to the beach, which our little dog Boe loved, and a short saunter into the village .
Julie was extremely helpful and prompt with extra details we needed answering. I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday home to anyone ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  • Me and my family (Husband, 2 children, 2 dogs) had a super weeks holiday at Sandy paws. Lots to see and do in the area. Beautiful beaches which our dogs loved! Dogs are free to use any part of the beaches before 1st May and after sometime in September, in between there are dog friendly parts. Accomodatiin was lovely. Really liked the doggy theme. Nice and confortable and clean. Mablethorpe and Skegness super for the children, beaches, amusements, rides, plenty of places to eat, lots of dog friendly places. We really liked Chapel St.Leonards.

Thank you for a super holiday!:-)

Our 1st stay at Sandy Paws and we were not disappointed, beautiful bungalow, spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming, we all felt at home immediately, shops , takeaways all close by, few minutes walk through nature reserve onto beach, close to coastal road with lots of places to visit, Sandy Paws is the best dog friendly place we have stayed and we can't wait to return. • We found the cottage extremely well equipped. I was especially happy with all the dog towels and the shower because he usually came home full of sand, and it was still warm enough to shower him outside. We are an old-fashioned couple. The only household chore my husband usually does (!) is the washing up, but he refuses to use a machine. So we bought a washing up brush and a tea towel. But that is just us and it does not reflect on the facilities! I found the bed very comfortable, and – which is not often the case – the bedside lights actually allowed me to read at night. We did move the bedside lights to the living room because we both like to read in the evenings rather than watch TV and this allowed us each to have a reading light. We enjoyed having a radio in the kitchen. I loved the peace and quiet at night most of all perhaps. It allowed me to relax.

Our second stay at Sandy Paws. The bungalow is very clean and has everything you need right down to the smallest detail. The dog signs make for a true home from home. The beach is brilliant very spacious and clean even on a dull day never fails to lift spirits. Farmer Browns is a must visit and the Bacchus hotel offers a warm welcome ( dogs are allowed in coffee lounge and beer garden) Thank you Julie and Paul for a fantastic restful stay

  • Little Pawprints - Sutton on Sea

Perfect holiday for us and the dogs.
Little Paws was fantastic and had everything we needed and more for a great holiday.
Welcome gift pack for the dogs which went down a treat with my pair.
The beach is so close you can sleep with the sound of the waves and the town is only a short walk away.
We loved our stay and are already planning a return trip.
Thank you for a great dog friendly place to stay

  • Little Pawprints - Sutton on Sea

Our second Pawprints holiday and enjoyed this one just as much. The properties are really well thought out with dogs in mind but not forgetting the comforts of the owners! Little Pawprints is perfectly placed for the beach and so quiet - the dogs were in heaven! Thanks, I’m sure we’ll be back….if we can get a booking!

  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

It was our 1st visit to sandy paws & Sutton on sea,
Booked for a few days break & for Phoenix's 2nd birthday.
Such a lovely place, a real home from home, impeccably clean and welcoming, the little extra touches for example a welcome message and tea when we arrived to a gift for the pooches that make the difference. It's in a superb location, only a few mins walk to a beautiful sandy beach that was dog friendly, or a leisurely stroll along the promenade or beach if phoenix & the pooches had they're way to Sutton, A great time was had by all. Will definitely recommend to our friends and hope to visit again soon ourselves.

    — Julie, Victoria, Matthew, Phoenix and the pooches Maya, Willow & Bertie., 22 Aug 2022
  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

This was not only our first visit to sandy paws but also stans very first holiday.
The bungalow was absolutely spotless and had a real home from home vibe which meant the minute Stan walked in he felt very comfortable and loved the special treat! The garden was secure and everything we could need was to hand.
Such a great location and the bungalow decoration was absolutely beautiful with a dog/beach themed.
We have just got home but are already sorting dates for our next trip!
Thank you for such a lovely stay 🐶

    — The Lowe family and Stan the dog, 08 Aug 2022
  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

This was our fourth visit to Sandy Paws, thank you Julie and Paul, for providing such a wonderful dog friendly property, with everything on one level, we love the tiled floors and the secure garden.
No additional cost for taking our dogs with us on holiday, allowing them to be able to sit with us on the sofa (we use sofa throws) and sleep on the bed (bringing our own bedding) just as they do at home is a very rare ‘dog friendly’ find.
Lovely walk from the door, through the nature reserve ‘Acre Gap’ onto the Promenade, then down to the beach.
We would highly recommend Pawprints Holidays.

  • Little Pawprints - Sutton on Sea

A glorious week at Little Pawprints ! We have now stayed at all three properties, all of which are excellent. This is the smaller of the three but still spacious enough. All the properties are always meticulously clean and are very well equipped. The gardens are fully secure so no worries about an escapee. And for the humans, the beds are so comfortable ! At Little Pawprints the proximity to the promenade can't be beaten... you can be walking along there with your dog/s only a few yards away from the property. We have already booked for next year. Sutton on Sea is somewhere we have been many times, and it is always an enjoyable stay. The town has everything you need if you don't want to go further afield. Can't recommend Pawprints Holidays highly enough. Mandy & Kit (plus Jess the Lab)

  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

We’ve just had a really great holiday at Sandy Paws. What a perfect dog friendly bungalow! Everything thought of & spotlessly clean! A fully enclosed good sized garden, so we knew our pooch was safe. Just across the road the nature reserve is ideal to walk to the dog friendly beach which stretches for miles in both directions. Walking along the promenade was a pleasure & there are even bowls of water for thirsty hounds placed every so often. There are just so many dog friendly eateries too! The North Sea Observatory where dogs are allowed inside as well as outside. The Fat Seagull is very close & serves lovely food. A walk to Sutton on Sea to ‘The Dolphin’ where we bought our scrumptious seaside fish & chips. We were even able to take our dog to Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary. This must be the most dog friendly place we’ve ever visited and it certainly won’t be our last.

  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

Our first visit to Sandy paws, situated in a very quiet area, no through traffic .
The bungalow was clean, fresh and well equipped.
Garden was perfect for the dogs and us humans, sunshine and shade. A pleasant few minutes walk to the very quiet beach, plenty of space even at high tide. Sutton sea has everything we needed. The Bacchus hotel on the high street is dog friendly with a large garden, we had a nice lunch and stopped for drinks another day before walking back to Sandy paws.
One of the best holidays we have had .
We loved it so much we have booked for next year .

Everything you need, a real home from home.
Its comfortable and cozy, the garden is secure and beautiful.
Lots of interesting places to visit, amazing beaches and wonderful, dog friendly places to eat.
We discover something new with each visit.

  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

We had a lovely week at Sandy Paws.
Accommodation is spotless and very fog friendly.
Short walk to miles of quiet beach and footpaths.
There are plenty of really good, dog friendly places to visit out and about.
Brown's ice cream farm has a good menu and does an amazing breakfast, perfect on our last morning.

  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

This truly is the most dog friendly holiday accommodation we have found most places that advertise as dog friendly really are not as usually it's one or 2 well behaved dog's (we have 5 between us) also they are not allowed on the furniture or into the bedroom's but as Julie and Paul are dog owners themselves they have thought of everything to make sandy paws the absolute perfect holiday home from home,

    — Nina Ellaway , 21 May 2022
  • Little Pawprints - Sutton on Sea

Little Pawprints is a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Secure enclosed garden so no worries. It really is 10 seconds to the beach , and what a beach!!!! We stayed in May and often had beach to ourselves. We had everything we needed and could not ask for more.

    — Patricia Ann Pidd, 21 May 2022
  • Sandy Paws - Sutton on Sea

We have just returned from our second visit to Sandy Paws and we enjoyed it even more this time, because we knew we were going to the best dog friendly place we have ever been to. The bungalow is beautiful & absolutely spotless, really is home from home with lots of extra touches. They really have thought of everything. The garden is 100% dog safe and not overlooked. We especially like that its seconds to Acre Gap nature walk that leads straight to the quiet beach. We will be booking again for next year.

    — Lisa Desmond, 14 May 2022
  • My second visit to Sandy Paws and this time for a week. I stayed last year for 4 days just as we were coming out of lockdown. It was so lovely to see everywhere open again, all the places I wanted to try that I couldn’t last year.
I love Sutton on Sea as it is so quiet but at the same time has everything you need!
Sandy Paws again was perfect! Clean with everything you could possibly need and want provided including those things you may have forgotten such as dog bowls. A wonderful goodie box welcomed us on arrival too, such a kind and generous added extra.
The house and garden are so perfectly set up for dogs (and owners) and it is so reassuring knowing that the dogs are safe.
I met so many people out walking that were so friendly and stopped to chat, just a wonderful area where you can go for miles along the beach.
Nothing is too much trouble with Julie either, such wonderful hosts.
Cannot recommend Pawprints holidays enough and especially Sandy Paws.

    — Sue Foord, 08 May 2022
  • I have just spent a week at Little Pawprints Sutton on Sea. The cottage was lovely in fact when I walked in I thought WOW I'm in the wrong place this is the show house. It was so clean and well decorated perfect for the dogs. It has tiled floors so easy to clean but they had a texture so the you didn't slip on them. There was every thing you could need for a holiday whether you ate out ordered takeaways or chose to cook. There was even a cupboard with lots of dog bowls and towels and a couple of balls in case you forgot the pups favourite toy. The back garden was a little suntrap and very safe to let the dogs out to run around. The front garden has a bonded resin surface which is great for parking the car on. Turn right out the gate and less than a minute and you will reach a public footpath sheltered from the sea breeze or walk up the slope and you can walk along a flat promenade for miles. You can also take your dog on the beach at this point and walk along the sea shore watching the tide come or go. We also walked to Mablethorpe twice a very pleasant walk. 10 mins from the cottage and you had walked into the town of Sutton on Sea. The town was lovely very clean and dog friendly a bit like an old fashioned holiday resort from your childhood. Dogs are not allowed on the beach by the town but there are lots of beach areas to take your dog. This was a lovely relaxing break and I will certainly go back.

    — Jackie Parker, 07 May 2022
  • First time visit to Sandy Paws and what a fabulous place to holiday with your dogs! There is everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday, safe and secure garden, hosepipe to rinse sandy feet, easy clean floors and an easy 5 minute walk to the sea, we had a great time. Julie provides milk, tea and biscuits for when you arrive and a lovely box of goodies for the dogs plus dog towels, bowls and a couple of spare leads. Sutton on sea has a really good Chinese takeaway and chip shop too, what more could you need? We all wanted to move In 😊

    — Anne Barnett, 01 May 2022
  • Our second trip to Happy Tails in Hogsthorpe was every bit as enjoyable as our first. The Bungalow is absolutely stunning, has everything and more that you could need on holiday and has been laid out to provide ample space for those with multiple Dogs. The lounge easily accommodates our dogs HiK9 beds and the access directly into the rear garden from the drive helps reduce the sand/dirt from being transported into the Bungalow. The Bungalow has beautiful views from the lounge and for those who enjoy a good Sunrise you can literally watch it from the main bedroom. You are spoilt for choice of Dog friendly Beaches, all a short drive away, our favourites being Moggs Eye and Mablethorpe.
The owners are lovely and can't do enough to ensure your stay is hassle free. Communication and directions are excellent.
We can't wait to come back for another visit and have no problem at all recommending Happy Tails.
Thank you for everything Julie and family, we hope to see you again later in the year.
Bev, Paul and the Dogs (Chippy, Leo, Breyah and Arch)

  • Just back from another fabulous stay at little pawprints. This is our second visit and just as perfect as the first. The property is immaculate and of a very high standard, the little touches left are really thoughtful and come in very handy (spare dog poo bags, treats, milk and coffee etc) The property is so clean and well presented with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It feels very homely, We love coming here.
The property is less than 5 mins walk from the beach and is very quiet with a private garden and parking. One of my dogs is quite anxious but she settles her in her bed quickly. The area is great for dogs, lots of long walks and plenty of places to avoid others if needed. Local shops nearby and a good location to get to other attractions. Couldn't recommend highly enough - we'll be back again soon

    — Jo R, 05 Apr 2022
  • Had an amazing week at Little Pawprints. Great little bungalow - really well equipped, great shower and comfy bed 🙂
Fully enclosed garden and easy to clean floors.. perfectfor the dogs!
Short walk to the dog friendly beach (1min 19 seconds... I timed it!), 10 min walk into town with a great bakery and butchers and places to eat.
The dogs and us humans loved it 🙂
    Will definitely be back

    — Sandra McGill , 16 Nov 2021
  • Had an amazing 4 night break at Little Pawprints.
Really can't recommend 'little pawprints' enough, will definitely be booking again for 2022. Such a well suited bungalow with everything close by. Juile, has put so much effort into making it all about relaxation and about the dogs, and it shows massively.
I really did enjoy my stay and thank you for everything.

    — Mrs Kelly Reeve, 30 Oct 2021
  • My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Sandy Paws, The accommodation was beautifully appointed and just a short stroll from the beach. The dogs also loved it and their welcome pack. Many thanks for that Julie. We will definitely go back. We were blessed with the weather too. Can't recommend highly enough. Many thanks

    — Sue Wood, 28 Oct 2021
  • We've had an amazing weekend stay in little paws with our pooches.
I can't recommend this property highly enough, the location is perfect. A very short walk and straight onto the beach, local shops also a short walk away. Nice quiet location with off street parking which is a huge bonus. The property itself is very spacious, beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. The thoughtful little touches (tea, coffee, milk, dog treats) were an unexpected bonus and very handy after the journey.
The garden is very secure, clean and nicely presented. I also love that there were quality cleaning products and hoovers, which really were useful. Often holiday properties supply basic products, if any, so this is another great touch.

We've walked for miles and have thoroughly enjoyed our time, so much so we've already rebooked! Looking forward to next time!

    — Jo, 27 Oct 2021
  • We have just had our 1 st holiday in 15 years never taken the dogs away found pawprints on face book and we are glad we did good size bungalow well equipped clean felt right at home the beach was minitues from the front door miles of walking both on the beach and the coastal bath we loved it and could have stayed for a second week would recommend sandypaws to anyone with multi dogs 😁😁

    — Diane and mark, 10 Oct 2021
  • We have been making 'Pawprints Dog Friendly holidays' our chosen destination every year since 2015.
Very few places accept multiple dogs, but Pawprints doesn't just accept them - they actively welcome them! Our latest stay was for 2 weeks with 12 dogs and the reason we return year on year is because they have thought of everything to make it a holiday where both dogs and their owners can truly relax and enjoy their time away. It's not just how clean, spacious and confortable the accomodation is, or the sofas and beds that the dogs can snuggle up on too, or the dog friendly flooring or the lovely secure garden - it's all the little touches, like the 'I'm on holiday' dog tags / water bowls / doggy towels / information book with dog-friendly places to visit during your stay / welcome pack with doggy toys & treats and canine themed decorations everywhere that sets Pawprints Dog Friendly Holidays way ahead of the rest.
The care and attention to detail shows that they are truly dog lovers and understand the importance of being able to share your holiday with your dogs too. All of the family, both human and canine have their every need catered for and the Bungalow is the best!
The location of the property a few minutes from the beach also makes it perfect for long leisurely walkies along the sea and if you can manage to pull yourself out the enormous luxury bed to see the sunrise on the beach it is absolutely beautiful. A stunning way to start the day!
We have already booked another 2 weeks next year and highly recommend Pawprints Dog Friendly Holidays.

    — Helen, Pete, Natty and pack of 12! , 03 Oct 2021
  • Another beautiful property and such a fantastic location, so close to the beach and the town centre. Everything you need, a true home from home. Eva and Teddie settled straight away and really enjoyed their days at the beach.

    — Heather Howieson, 18 Sep 2021
  • Just had our 3rd holiday with paw prints a truly dog friendly holiday, sandy paws has everything to make our stay perfect, the dog's loved their welcome bag of treats and toy's, the bungalow is immaculately clean and the garden is secure so we can relax knowing our dog's are safe, going for long walks on the beach and seeing our dogs running in and out if the sea is pure joy, we will be coming to sandy paws for all our holidays as it's perfect for us humans and our 5 dog's

    — Nina ,Chris and Ange, 13 Sep 2021
  • Had a very comfortable stay at Little Pawprints. No need to get the car out as less than a minute onto the beach and only 10/15 minutes into Sutton on Sea for cafes and groceries. However if anyone wants a change of scenery the beach at Mablethorpe is huge and dog friendly, although the town not much to my taste. We also visited NT’s Gunby Hall, and decided to check out Louth, which is an attractive market town and took the opportunity to walk the dogs in Hubbard’s Hills a park on the outskirts of Louth which made a very pleasant change.

    — Sarah Wilton, 05 Sep 2021
  • Had a lovely stay at Little Paws cannot fault the accommodation it was first class and the nicest place have stayed in, My grandson and our dogs loved it. Everything had been provided for and loads of interesting places to visit just short drive away, the dogs and grandson loved the walks on the beach and we will definitely be back, many thanks for a wonderful stay

    — Helen, 05 Sep 2021
  • This was our second year at Sandy Paws and we had an amazing time. The bungalow was immaculate and very spacious even with our multiple dogs and people. The short walk along grassy paths to the dog friendly beach was perfect, as were all the other miles of quiet, dog friendly beach. We’re hoping that by the time we visit again the new cafe at Huttoft will be open and we can add it to our list of great places for coffee.

    — Ann Fairweather , 31 Aug 2021
  • We just spent a week at Happy Tails. Everything was perfect. We were impressed from the beginning when we made the initial booking enquiry through to being sent all appropriate information the week leading up to our stay.
First impressions didn't disappoint, the bungalow was immaculate, very clean and welcoming. The doggy ornaments and touches had us smiling and they had thought of everything.
The dog friendly beaches are fabulous, so many walks, our Sprocker Bramble loved it!
We had lovely meals at The Red Lion in Mumby and the Saracens Head in Hogsthorpe, both were very dog friendly. The waffles at Wren Farm were amazing, Bramble thought the special doggylicous treat was very tasty too.
Thank you once again for a superb doggy friendly holiday.

    — Jakki Knight, 25 Aug 2021
  • We spent a very comfortable week at Sandy Paws. The bungalow was immaculately spotlessly clean and in a super quiet position; it was lovely to go to bed without the usual 'noises' you get from living in central London. The position was perfect to gain access to the dog-friendly beach and also only a short pleasant walk along the seafront to the town centre. Our dog, Monty, loved the beach and digging holes in the sand; he also enjoyed staring out the lounge window watching the cats who lived next door!

    — Jonathan Smales, 21 Aug 2021
  • Fantastic week at Sandy Paws. First holiday with a dog. Probably one of the best family holidays we’ve had. Absolutely perfect with the dog. Plenty of places dog-friendly close by. Dog-friendly beach minutes away. We didn’t get to visit everything we had on the to-do list but would recommend Sandilands and the Fat Seagull for a beach day and lunch in easy walking distance. Farmer Browns for a traditional English breakfast or the best ice-cream. Ice rock cafe for coffee or evening meal. Plenty of places to relax. Very easy promenade walk. Hopefully we’ll be back (if I can persuade the designated driver!)
Thank you for a truly dog friendly, home from home holiday bungalow. (Super-king and king beds, and hot showers really make a difference).

    — Angela, 15 Aug 2021
  • Myself ,daughter, two young children and two young dogs had a fantastic 10 days at your property -Sandy Paws.
Think everyone has said how great the property is—perfect
We really enjoyed the local area, miles of beach and paths.Sutton on Sea was idilic— like holidays of my childhood.Everywhere was spotless, friendly and very reasonably priced.
    Local restaurants were amazing
Would like to think we would all come again— but 5 hours journey for family may not make it possible— I will be back without a doubt
Thanks Julie and team for all your help

  • Fantastic week at Little Pawprints, bungalow is spotlessly clean & very well equipped with a fully enclosed dog friendly garden. Parked car on drive & it didn't move till we drove home, everything is easily walkable with the beach 30 secs away and acre gap nature reserve 3 min max!!!!!! Sutton on Sea town centre is 10 min stroll down the promenade, couple of nice dog friendly pubs. Thanks Julie, we all enjoyed our hols & are hoping to be back very soon!!

    — Ian Bluck , 01 Aug 2021
  • What a gorgeous week we had at Happy Tails. Beautiful bungalow in a very peaceful location. The tiled flooring in the living areas were perfect for my dogs in the hot weather. Beach is 4 minutes by car. Local pub 4 minutes on foot! So lovely to find such high spec accommodation geared specifically for dogs. Will definitely be back!

  • Just returned from Sandy Paws after a fantastic week!
Lovely dog friendly bungalow with an excellent secure garden which the dogs could run free in without worry.
Only a short walk from the beach for those early morning cool walks out of the heat of the day.
Plenty for humans to do as well, nice walks or cycles up and down the promenade to Mablethorpe to the North and Anderby Creek to the South.
Plenty of dog friendly places to eat, The Bacchus Hotel in Sutton itself and The Red Lion in Mumby are both well worth a visit! Also Waldos is handy for a fish and chip take out!
If you play golf then Skegness Golf Centre is well worth a visit!
    We cannot wait to return!

    — Rob Swindells, 24 Jul 2021
  • A beautiful clean and modern bungalow. Easy access to the beach and local shops!! Four legged and two legged guests will thoroughly enjoy their stay!

Just back from four days at Little Paws, WOW what a place. Very clean and the best dog friendly accommodation we have ever been in, the bungalow is very clean and dog friendly , the garden is extremely dog secure. We parked the car and it stayed parked, didn’t use it once. Eric and Ernie enjoyed their welcome toy a bit too much 🙄 Beautiful beach walks and footpaths in the area, thank you Julie for a very enjoyable couple of days.

Had a lovely week at Sandy Paws again, our 2nd visit and we absolutely love the bungalow and the area.
Sandy Paws is perfect, comfy and cosy. The super king-size bed is pure luxury. Well stocked with everything for the dog, nice big secure garden too.
The beach is a 5 minute walk through a lovely nature reserve and the town is a 15 minute walk along the promenade. The town has everything you need and is a traditional seaside town. The beaches are huge and never too busy.
Lots to do in the area and all dog friendly.
As far as I'm concerned Pawprints Dog Friendly Holidays proved the best holiday lets ever, the bungalow is so clean and tidy when you arrive its like no else has been there before.
We wouldn't go anywhere else on holiday it's like a home from home.

  • June 2021.
Just got back from a fantastic holiday at Sandy Paws. It was our first visit with my husband, 90 year old dad and our three dogs. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and very spacious. The beds were amazing so comfortable. It was lovely to be able to leave the patio doors open in the kitchen so the dogs could come and go as they pleased in the secure garden area.
We visited the Donkey Sanctuary in Huttoft, I am an animal lover so was in my element and could have stayed all day feeding the donkey's. We had a lovely Sunday lunch at the Red Lion in Mumby which is dog friendly and also visited Seascape at Chapel St Leonards which is also dog friendly and the food is superb. My only regret is that the holiday went too quickly. Would definitely recommend this 5star bungalow and its lovely owners.

    — Anne Phillips, 26 Jun 2021
  • We have had a great week staying at Happy Tails. The bungalow is spacious, all facilities are to a high standard and spotlessly clean - just what we expected after having stayed at Sandy Paws in Sutton on Sea a couple of years ago. We had hoped to be staying at Happy Tails last year but we were in lockdown so had to postpone to this year. It was so worth the wait. Everything you need for the holiday is provided, including an umbrella for the garden seating area. It is a very short distance from Hogsthorpe to the coast ... our favourite spot was near The Observatory, where Jess exhausted herself running up and down the beach and then you (and the dog/s) can relax afterwards for a coffee or food at the cafe which is excellent and they provide fresh drinking water for dogs. We also sought out the park area at Beresford Ave in Skegness, after reading another visitor's comment and this is great if you don't want to be on a sandy walk! We would not hesitate to recommend Happy Tails or Sandy Paws (haven't tried Little Sandy Paws yet!) and we will definitely be rebooking. It is a beautiful area of the coast and so quiet. Just what we needed and of course Jess is happy and exhausted.

  • We had a fabulous week at Sandy Paws very comfortable accommodation for the dogs and there humans. Close to the beach for lovely walks and fun in the sea. Thank you

    — Tracey Pike , 19 Jun 2021
  • We had a lovely family break at Sandy Paws, the house was everything we wished for and all the dogs needs had been thought of. Loved being so close to the beach, and every time we went up we had low tide. The dogs didn't stop running. Would recommend for all dog lovers, nice not to worry about the beds and the furniture like so many so called 'dog friendly' holiday homes. Excellent communication with Julie, very helpful, quick return of my deposit. Hopefully we will be back again.

    — Jenny Brooks, 14 Jun 2021
  • Another fantastic week at Happy Tails. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Everything thought of for dogs and their servants. We'll certainly be vack

    — Sue Greaves, 12 Jun 2021
  • This was our first stay at Happy Tails we arrived on Saturday and by Sunday we decided to rebook for next year, the accommodation was really great both for us and our dogs, the garden is fully secure even for our beagles, the bungalow had everything in it that we needed and it was spotless, the beds were as comfortable as ours at home and it was lovely to have a super king size one the same as home as it gets a bit tight with everyone wanting a share. It was so nice that there wasn’t a list of what your dogs cannot do like no getting on furniture or beds it just meant you weren’t so on edge all the time. We’ve stayed in a lot of holiday let’s and this one is one of the best. Thankyou so much Julie see you next year

    — John and Denise Shipton, 05 Jun 2021
  • Our first holiday away with our new puppy and all I can say is WOW... this place is ideal for all the family as I had two kids and my mum with me .. the accommodation is the ideal set up. . And place from home .. truly is the perfect place to take your fur baby.. the sea coast is fantastic and like having the beach to yourselves .. the kid’s loved it as much as Rosie .. the neighbours are so friendly . Our first holiday be it too short this time was more that I ever expected .this place is a little gold mine . And all I can say is I can’t wait to go back for longer .. thank you so much Sandy paws .. woof woof xx

  • Our first visit to Sandy Paws and definitely not our last, in fact we rebooked before we had even left.
If you are looking for a home from home stay with everything both you and the dogs require, then look no further.
Wonderful clean bungalow kitted out with everything you could possible need, a goodie bag on arrival, a very secure back garden and less then 5 minutes walk to the beach where you can walk for miles!
Some great takeaways in town but equally fabulous cooking facilities at home.
Very friendly and helpful neighbours too which is always a bonus.
We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back next year.

    — Sue & Bailey, 01 May 2021
  • We have just returned from our first holiday at Sandy Paws and have already re-booked for next year! Absolutely spotless and beautiful bungalow with a very secure garden. Lots of dog friendly extras and even a little doggy bag with a present for the dogs on arrival. Lovely walk literally seconds from the bungalow to a nature reserve that takes you directly to the beach.

    — lisa desmond, 28 Apr 2021
  • We visited Little Pawprints for the first time, 19-23 April. The accommodation is very spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. The sunny garden was very secure which our three small dogs loved to run around in. One of our dogs is particularly small (3kg) and there was still no means of escape, which means you can relax and let then do their own thing.
It was really appreciated to be able to have mats for the floors, so they didn't slip and pet stairs.
We didn't get up to much, still socially distancing, but the large spacious sandy beach was only a very short walk away, which was lovely for the dogs (and us!).
We will definitely be returning, it is truly dog friendly.

    — Rachael, 27 Apr 2021
  • We were so happy to be back at Happy Tails as the COVID restrictions eased. This trip, we discovered the local pub “The Tavern” which is walking distance, very dog friendly with welcoming hosts. Luckily we had the weather on our side with compulsory outside seating and you get a chat with the locals. We also discovered a great area for dog walking away from the beach - the sea was pretty rough some days so we needed an alternative to beach walkies. Try Beresford Avenue, Skegness ( 20 mins). It’s got open fields, walkways and woodland areas. Absolutely ideal for those days when the weather forces you away from the coast. Finally, thanks for providing a “dog” gate - our 3 dogs settled much better this time and we all got a decent nights sleep!!

    — Tracey Rowe, 25 Apr 2021
  • Had a fantastic week at a fantasic place ,could not fault a thing ,our 4 Shih Tzus had a blast on the beach which is very easy to get to .Thank you Julie really hope to return soon ,

  • we have had a wonderful week down at happytails
The bungalow is so well set up with everything you need .the garden is low maintenance and dog friendly

  • WOW! We are so privileged to have been the 1st guests!
Julie told me the property wasn't 100% finished but it is perfect. The location to the beach & town is fantastic.
Little Pawprints is absolutely stunning, and the extra details and things Julie provides ensures a home from home feeling while enjoying the perks of being on holiday.
We couldn't ask for more. See you next year xx

  • Just wanted to say how delighted we are with Happy Tails. It's no exaggeration to say it's undoubtedly the loveliest house we've stayed in....and blimey, we've stayed in quite a few. Previously we've felt that we're expected to take lower standards just because we have dogs - thank you for having a completely different mind set. We're talking about a return visit and only been here 24 hours!! And it's torrential rain!
    Best wishes
Tracey & Mike Rowe and 4 happy dogsters!!

    — Tracey & Mike Rowe, 29 Sep 2019
  • We had a wonderful holiday at Sandy Paws, staying with our son, his girlfriend and Jess the labrador. The bungalow is very spacious, clean and very well equipped. The beds are extremely comfortable and obviously good quality - a gold star bonus as far as I am concerned as that doesn't often happen in holidiay rental properties. Lots of extras available for dogs - spare bowls, dog towels, leads, poo bags (!) etc. just in case you have left anything you need at home. The rear garden is fully enclosed so no worries about your dog escaping under a hedge! The house location is superb, only a couple of minutes walk to an expanse of mostly deserted beach, but there is also a flat level pathway right along the coast (so you can walk your dog/s on the lead for miles if you want). All the facilities you need are available in Sutton on Sea (including a pet shop and a vet) but only a few minutes in the car to Mablethorpe if you want. If you like a peaceful holiday and haven't been to Sutton on Sea before I highly recommend you visit. We have been many times previously to the town but the first time staying at this property and it is the perfect place to stay - so close to the beach and within flat walking distance of the town. Loved it.

  • Sandy Paws - House is beautiful & has everything you need. The local beach was ideal for our antisocial dog as he could be off lead & not bump into anyone. We'd definitely recommend the sand train in Mablethorpe for those with children. The Fat Seagull in Sandilands was fab for a Sunday lunch!

  • Just back from our holiday at Sandy Paws. Loved it! The bungalow is well equipped, comfy and just as welcoming as Pawprints. Brilliant, quiet location within easy walking distance of the (mostly deserted) beach. No driving. Dogs can be off lead all the way! Only negative thing was we had to come home!

  • We have previously stayed at Pawprints in Devon, so decided to give Sandy Paws a try. Loved it just as much as Pawprints, if not more! Location wise, it is perfect, very quiet and peaceful and only minutes from the doggy beach. The accommodation is beautifully presented. A lot of thought and hard work has gone into the renovations, from the upcycled furniture to all the little doggy touches! The shower was amazing and we really enjoyed sitting out in the garden, watching our doggies play on the grass! We had extremes of weather during our stay. Over the weekend, it was very hot and Sandy Paws was cool, airy and comfortable. Later in the week a severe weather warning was issued (Rain / gales) so we popped on the heating and we were lovely and warm and toasty! We stayed as a family of 4 and 16 dogs. 3 generations raging from 15 years to 79 years! During our stay, we had a meal at the Sea Breeze restaurant (a MUST!) We also visited Woodthorpe Garden Centre at Alford to see the animatronic dinosaurs and have a go at the Maze / Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary at Huttoft / Farmer Browns Ice cream Parlour / Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary / The smallest cinema in the world!!! Loewen Cinema at Mablethorpe / The Sooty Show and an acdc tribute act at the Embassy theatre in Skegness / Lido paddling pool in Sutton on Sea / Open Garden at Rose Cottage on Church Lane...there really is something for EVERYONE in the area and then it is lovely to come back to Sandy Paws and relax. This is our new favourite place. Wish we could stay more often, but have already booked again for next year!
